Intensive course to improve climbing technique in Sardinia
Island of Sardinia, Italy. Huge variety of terrain. Incredibly beautiful rocks, sometimes very unusual landforms. And Sardinia is the sea and some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
The course is aimed at rock climbers with a climbing level from 5b to 6c.
Course content:
- setting goals for the trip
- organization of general safety on climbing routes
- safety rules with lead belay
- release from fears: how to stop being afraid of lead belay
- cases of how to develop climbing technique
- mental training in rock climbing
- learn to read routes and think mentally
- solving route puzzles
- individual recommendations for training
The training is conducted by: Master of Sports for rock climbing, two-time world champion, Olha Bezhko.
ON DAYS:
Day 1: Arrival in Sardinia
Arrival on the island of Sardinia, the territory of Italy. Olbia or Cagliari airports. Renting a car, moving to the seaside village of Cala Gonone. Accommodation in apartments.
Day 2: Start of classes
Rock climbing in the Poltrona sector, near Cala Gonone. Determining the level of climbing and building individual tasks for each course participant.
Day 3: Work on technique errors
The incredible Biddiriskottai Rocks, which are located directly above the picturesque beach. Identifying and working on correcting climbing techniques. Concentration on conscious climbing. Each passage is work on optimizing the technique.
Day 4: Rest
Lectures-discussions about rock climbing. Sea, cheese and wine.
Days 5-6: New areas of Sardinia
There are many rocky areas in Sardinia. Most of the rocks are extremely beautiful. There are sectors with very unusual landforms. Therefore, it is difficult to decide and choose the best sector for tomorrow.
Day 7: Return home
